Furniture stores have heaps of stand-alone wardrobes that are functional and we got to admit, some are really beautiful. But why are built-in wardrobes greatly recommended?

First off, they allow for every nook and cranny to be filled. Stand-alone wardrobes typically do not go all the way to the top, leaving a huge gap between the top of the furniture and the ceiling. What that means is that you have to routinely dust the top. Well, who wants that? Built-in wardrobes allow for a full-height customisation, making use of any vertical space available, even for awkward corners.

Speaking of customisation, you get to decide the nitty gritty details that go into having the built-in wardrobe made. Things like colours, textures, number of drawers, mirrors or no mirrors. You get the idea. Your wardrobe, your choice. All greatly depends on your needs. Yes, that means it’s going to be more costly than those stand-alone counterparts but, they are ultimately your creation, per say.

We’re not discounting the downsides that come with this permanent fixture such as not being able to remodel a space as and when you like it (changing the arrangement of furniture). Hence, we are here to plan the space with you so you will be comfortable with the same layout for a long time.

We mentioned the slightly higher cost involved in building one as compared to getting a stand-alone off the shelf. This is when we step in and assist you in ensuring what works within your budget, and you will still be guaranteed with a quality finish.
